Adobe Subscription News 2025: Price Hikes Coming and Saving Strategies<\/h2>

In recent weeks, Adobe announced\u00a0Increase in the price of Photoshop and Lightroom<\/b>.<\/strong><\/p>

This update\u00a0It only concerns some types of subscriptions.\u00a0<\/b>and it might interest you directly.<\/p>

In this article, I'll tell you everything you need to know about the changes to Adobe\u00ae Photography plans and how to keep your subscription affordable... and\u00a0<\/strong>a tip for\u00a0save further compared to official prices.<\/b><\/p>


<\/strong>UPDATE OF JANUARY 15TH:<\/b><\/em><\/p>

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>

It seems that\u00a0<\/em>in these last few hours<\/em>\u00a0some users are still managing to take precautions.
The price change announced by Adobe for the 20GB Photography Plan does not appear to be effective on the Adobe\u00ae website yet, but it likely will be in a few hours.
<\/em>Is it possible that Adobe\u00ae made this exception due to yesterday's congested chats and some users' difficulty changing plans last night due to a malfunction.
This morning, many of Marianna's students confirmed that they were able to change their subscription in just a few minutes with the help of an Adobe\u00ae agent.<\/em><\/p>

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>

ATTENTION!<\/b>
Starting today, January 15th, I've been receiving reports from some users that it appears other plans are also experiencing price increases. For example, the Lightroom 1TB Plan has gone from 12.19 Euros\/month as of yesterday...\u00a0<\/em>January 14, 2025\u00a0<\/em>at 14.86\/month as of today, January 15, 2025).
But it seems that in this case Adobe did not notify users either via the website or via email<\/em><\/p>

What to do by January 15, 2025<\/b>
(to avoid the price increase)<\/div>

\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>

THE ONLY ADOBE\u00ae SUBSCRIPTION THAT WILL HAVE AN ANNOUNCED PRICE INCREASE
(and therefore avoidable by January 15):<\/i><\/b><\/p>

Piano Photography 20GB\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Annual with payment\u00a0<\/i><\/b>monthly.<\/i><\/b>
<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

It's the plan that includes Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Photoshop + 20 GB of cloud storage.
This subscription will expire\u00a0from \u20ac12.19\/month to \u20ac18.45\/month<\/b>\u00a0VAT included (effective January 16, 2025).<\/p>

If you have a plan with 20GB of storage (and you make good use of it), hold onto it tight: it will no longer be possible to subscribe to it for new subscribers. Only those who already have this subscription will be able to continue using it until they decide to cancel it.\u201d<\/p>

There is a way to avoid this increase<\/b>
<\/strong><\/p>

To avoid this increase, you must switch to\u00a0payment\u00a0annual<\/em>\u00a0anticipated.<\/b>
To change your rate plan, you need to cancel your previous subscription and sign up for a new one by January 15th. You will receive a refund for the unused days of your previous subscription.<\/p>

Don't wait for the price increase: change your plan now to continue using Photoshop and Lightroom without surprises.<\/p>
