There is a gaze that captures. One of those that stops you, that makes you silently enter an image. And that's exactly what happens when you look at the black and white portrait above: an encounter between light, expression, and spontaneous beauty.<\/p>

The shot was born from a simple moment, without elaborate plans or sets, but with the desire to capture something pure. The protagonist is a girl with a perfect face and two enchanting eyes, who did her own makeup, with a naturalness that emerges in every detail. The location? A quiet private garden, with large trees framing the scene.<\/p>

The technique behind the simplicity<\/strong><\/h3>

The photograph was taken by an amateur photographer, a lover of close-up portraits, who prefers spontaneous shots to staged poses. For him, photography is a way to surround himself with beauty and to get to know people in their truth, not a tool for sending messages.<\/p>

The machine used is a Canon 70D<\/strong>, paired with the lens Sigma 17-50mm f\/2.8 EX DC OS HSM<\/strong>. The light is natural, but enhanced by a play of light and shadow created with a Yongnuo YN685 Flash<\/strong> mounted on Neewer 70x50cm rectangular softbox<\/strong>, positioned to the left of the model, slightly higher and tilted about 45 degrees relative to the face.<\/p>

    The photograph was taken in RAW<\/strong>, then developed with careful post-production: black and white conversion, minor corrections, and a very slight touch-up on the eyes to enhance their brightness and color. Nothing invasive, especially since the model had no imperfections to correct.<\/p>

    A human approach before a technical one<\/strong><\/h3>

    The photographer explains that, beyond technique, what guides him is the relationship that is created with the subject. He avoids stiff poses and instead tries to capture the essence of the person in front of him: the way they look, smile, or move their eyes. This spontaneous approach allows for non-standardized, unique, and genuine portraits.<\/p>

    The shot proposed is among his favorites. Not for the technical difficulty, but for what it communicates: A young, fresh, innocent beauty<\/strong>, caught in a moment of truth.<\/p>

    A Look at the Future<\/strong><\/h3>

    Although portraiture is his preferred genre, he doesn't rule out venturing into new experiments.
