Cava de\u2019 Tirreni, August 28, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 An evening of reflection and debate on the future of communication animated the Social Tennis Club of Cava de\u2019 Tirreni<\/strong>, historic club active since 1937, which hosted the presentation of the new book by prof. Michele Zizza<\/strong>, Professor at the University of Tuscia.<\/p>\n The volume, titled Digitalization, Disinformation, Destabilization<\/em> Scientific Editorial, series Frontiers of Social Science<\/em>, (April 2025), scientifically addresses the major questions posed by the digital age: from the impact of technologies on information quality to the pitfalls of manipulation and fake news, up to the increasingly pervasive role of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n The meeting, organized by the cultural association \u201cOne, No. One Hundred Thousand\u201d<\/strong> within the framework of the festival A book (almost) a day<\/em> promoted by the Municipality, was moderated by Carla Schiavo<\/strong>, who led the dialogue between the guests and the audience.<\/p>\n Prof. Zizza highlighted a crucial point:<\/p>\n \u201cJust as the journalist survived the transition from typewriter to PC, today we must govern artificial intelligence so as not to risk atrophying thought.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Among others, Prof. Armando Lamberti<\/strong>, Councilor for Culture, the representatives of the\u2019Association of Journalists Cava - Amalfi Coast<\/strong> e Alfonso Galdi<\/strong>, promoter of the initiative.<\/p>\n Published by Scientific Editorial<\/strong> and it's already available in bookstores and online, the volume (138 pp., cover price \u20ac12.00) is the seventh in the \u201cFrontiers of Social Sciences\u201d series\u201d<\/strong>. It not only photographs the risks of disinformation, made more aggressive by the use of AI, but also proposes operational solutions: synergies between journalists, digital platforms, schools, and institutions to build an information ecosystem capable of protecting freedom and social progress.<\/p>\n As reported by Sky TG24<\/strong>, the text is aimed not only at university students but also at digital enthusiasts and information professionals. In the coming months, the author will be featured in other literary reviews, including the Salento Book Festival<\/strong>, confirming the attention the topic is generating nationally.<\/p>\n The meeting confirmed the commitment of the association \u201cNessuno e centomila\u201d to promoting moments of discussion on issues central to contemporary society.
