Digital photography, unlike traditional photography, does not involve the development of photographic film but only the printing of the file on paper. Once archived, files are not subject to degradation caused by atmospheric agents; however, hardware storage problems can cause them to be lost.

In digital photos, print quality is superior, colors are brighter, and images are sharper... all at a much lower price than traditional photography.
