Money-back guarantee

As provided by law, in the event of dissatisfaction with the quality of the service, the user has the right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the product. For customized products, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. The product can be returned for replacement in case of serious manufacturing defects or damage that occurred before and during shipping.

Each order will be photographed in the shipping department. The photos can be viewed in your private area, in the order history section.

 

Product return methods

If your product meets the criteria for return/withdrawal, you must proceed as follows:

  • 1) Access the dedicated returns section (click here to open a return procedure) available in your user account, which can also be accessed from your order history.
    Open a return request by filling out the appropriate form and attaching photos showing the problem encountered, if possible (mandatory in case of product damage).

  • 2) Wait for one of our operators to verify and approve the request: an email will confirm the progress and contain information on how to proceed.

  • 3) Print the authorization letter that will be sent via email and attach it to the package. Pack the merchandise in the same package it was received in, if undamaged.
    Paste the label with our address, provided in the return confirmation email, onto the box to be shipped back.

  • 4) If the operator indicated pickup by us, wait for pickup at home by our courier. If you were asked to ship the package yourself, proceed with shipping via ordinary mail (Pacco Celere 3) at your own expense.
    Shipping costs will be refunded once the return has been received and approved. Photoworld will not refund shipping costs exceeding those of the current Poste Italiane "pacco celere 3" service.

 

 

In case of damaged prints due to reasons not attributable to photoworld but rather to the quality of the file generated by the customer, photoworld will not be held liable in any way.
PhotoWorld does not compensate customers if they reprint photos at another lab.

 

Contents of the Envelope

In the case of a gift shipment, the invoice will not be included inside the package but will have already been sent exclusively electronically to the email of the user who placed the order.
In this case, the package will be accompanied by a delivery note (without any price indication).

PhotoWorld produces photographic material representing the merchandise shipped. Photos of the packages will be kept in our archives.
This photographic material remains for PhotoWorld's use to prove the actual shipment of all merchandise covered by the order.

 

What to Do When You Receive Your Order

At the time of delivery of the goods, the Customer is required to check:

That the number of packages to be delivered matches what is indicated on the transport document.;

that the packaging is intact, not damaged, wet, or otherwise altered, including the sealing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).

Any damage or discrepancy in the number of packages or indications must be immediately disputed with the courier making the delivery, by writing “Subject to inspection of goods” on the appropriate accompanying document.

Otherwise, Photoworld will not be liable for any compensation or reprints. If you accept the merchandise delivered by the courier without noting any necessary reservations, you will not be able to claim any shortages or damages due to transport from PhotoWorld.it at a later time, but exclusively from the courier.

We also specify that the following wording, “Collo integro accetto con riserva di controllo” (Package intact, I accept with reservation of inspection), is not taken into consideration by the courier, who therefore does not accept claims or damages. Thus, inspection must be carried out on the spot with the courier. Any hidden anomalies (e.g., theft or shortages) must be reported in writing by registered mail with return receipt addressed to PhotoWorld.it within seven working days. Any notification beyond the aforementioned deadlines will not be taken into consideration. For every declaration, the Customer assumes full responsibility for what is declared.

 

Photo reprints with problems (chemical development printing)

The photos exhibiting the following defects will not be reprinted:

  • - mismatch between print colors and the client's monitor colors;
  • – mismatch of photo proportions to the chosen format;
  • – no match of personal color profiles with the laboratory's color profiles;
  • - mismatch between print colors and the client's monitor colors;
  • – mismatch of photo proportions to the chosen format;
  • – Files damaged by the customer during processing.

Once liability for the damage is verified, the photos will be reprinted and the shipping cost will be fully refunded via bank transfer or credited to your personal Photoworld wallet. In the case of an error not attributable to the laboratory, the customer will therefore have to pay for both the outgoing and return shipping.

 

Photo albums

The digital photo book is a product made with the latest generation of automated machines, but the production process remains exclusively artisanal. This makes each product always unique and different. The printing is achieved through chemical development in RGB color mode.

Before proceeding with printing, Photoworld is committed to sending a graphic preview of the photo book. This step aims solely to identify and confirm the exact sequence of files (page 01, page 02...). Small defects and minor imperfections will not be detectable at this stage due to the resolution that monitors provide via the internet (72 dpi for Windows, 96 dpi for Mac).
In the absence of graphic confirmation, the laboratory will not proceed to the next printing phase.

Each component of the kit may differ in terms of printing, binding, material type, and print colors. Differences in prints may also occur on the same files, whether printed at earlier or later times (a characteristic of chemical printing). While maintaining maximum precision, the use of geometric graphics with borders and frames not at the edge of the pages is not recommended.

Right of withdrawal: The photobook falls into the category of personalized products, therefore it cannot be considered a returnable product as a “sine qua non” principle. For commercial reasons, Photoworld allows the right of withdrawal before the “FILE VERIFICATION” status. All products on offer or in flash sale mode are excluded from the right of withdrawal after 14 days from the purchase of the product.

In case of couple separation (for wedding photo books), Photoworld is willing to refund half of the order amount, but only if the order is in the “file verification” status.;

Out of Warranty
Misalignment due to incorrect viewing of the photobook (flipped through incorrectly);
Product maintenance in humid environments (consequence: page warping);
Liquid spills on pages (saliva or drinks...);

Digital development chemical photographic printing is subject to the phenomenon known as “overspilling.”.
This phenomenon does not guarantee a millimeter-perfect match of measurements on edges or cutouts.

Competent court: Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Vallo della Lucania (SA).
