Photoworld provides the color profiles of its machines, constantly updated with the latest printing settings.

The usable color profile is the proprietary Noritsu sRGB paper color profile.
You can download it and assign it to your photos using your graphics program.

The correct procedure in Photoshop, in our opinion, is as follows:
Work on the images following your own workflow and then, from the “edit” menu, click “convert to profile” and assign our paper profile.

  • – Unzip the downloaded file
  • Open the folder on the disk /Library/ColorSync and copy the color profile inside.
  • Open the photo editing software (e.g., Photoshop) you are using and the correct file to be printed.
  • – Simulate print colors (ref. Photoshop) from the menu > View > Proof Setup > Custom..
  • – Select the profile to simulate (the profile downloaded within the software will be named p116a400).
  • – Select rendering intent “perceptual”.

At this point, you get a print simulation, but the file will always have the same generic profile (e.g., sRGB). This will allow you to make corrections in reference to the print result.

Once the corrections are made, save a new file to send to the lab, and indicate that you have used the color profile.

4. Check that the monitor corresponds to the image received from the laboratory.
