Nine exhibitions to tell the soul of Siena

The Siena Awards offers Nine photography exhibitions scattered between the historic center and the surrounding areas, from Sovicille to the Abbey of San Galgano, where the section of Drone Photo Awards.
Each exhibition is designed as an immersive journey through art, photography, and landscape, with images that dialogue with the medieval architecture of the city and the light of its villages.

The festival, which will continue until November 23, 2025, offers the public an exciting itinerary of landscapes, faces, and stories from all over the world.

Steve McCurry, the undisputed star

The opening was marked by the highly anticipated meeting with Steve McCurry, the world's legendary photojournalist, interviewed by Gianluca Gazzoli in front of a Teatro dei Rinnovati filled to capacity.
The event sold out in just a few hours, confirming the immense public affection for the author of “Afghan Girl.”.

During the event, McCurry received from’University of Siena the Master's degree honoris causa in Anthropology and Languages of the Image, a recognition of his extraordinary contribution to photographic culture and the human value of his work.
