Color is not a technical detail, but a language. And when you master it, every photograph stops being just a good image and becomes narrative, emotion, intention. It is precisely from this idea that “My color workflow”, the free training meeting held by Marianna Santoni the next one Tuesday, October 14, 2025 a Cremona, at the CR2 SINAPSI Center In Serio Street 34.
The event, organized by EIZO® Italy with the collaboration of Blue Eyes Foundation Onlus, is part of the cycle “Glimpses of Light: Travels, Stories, and Visions”, a journey of encounters that unites photography and solidarity, where the great protagonists of the image share experiences, knowledge, and sensitivity.
There will be two encores — at 6:00 PM and to 21:00 — both at free participation, with Mandatory registration. There will be no recordings or live streams: it will be an event to be experienced only in person, in the spirit of authentic sharing.
The color between technique and interpretation
Marianna Santoni, recognized as one of Italy's foremost experts in post-production and color management, will guide participants through real-world case studies to explore every stage of her workflow.
We will talk about color profiles, monitor calibration, color correction and — above all — of creative interpretationbecause color, like light, is a form of visual writing.
Next to her will speak Luca Zaffanella, Account & Marketing Manager at EIZO Italy, to further explore the importance of proper calibration and professional monitors in modern photography.
A lesson for everyone
The meeting is not for professionals only. It is intended for photographers, post-production specialists, printers, videomakers, graphic designers, illustrators, art directors and for anyone who wants to better understand how color influences the perception and final output of their images.
A formative and solidarity event
The initiative supports the Blue Eyes Foundation Onlus, involved in educational and social projects. Participation is free, but those who wish can leave a free donation in support of the Foundation's activities. A concrete way to transform knowledge into solidarity.
In an era where screens seem to suffice for everything, events like this remind us how precious it is to meet, to see color come alive in person, and to rediscover photography as an art of balance between technique and sensitivity.
To participate, you must sign up online through the official page of Marianna Santoni on the site EIZO Italy.
Seats are limited — and in this case, the color won't wait either.
